Another weird patent has surfaced from Nintendo, this time for an unusual touchscreen controller. The Nintendo NX, Nintendo's next home console, is not mentioned in the patent, so there is chance this is for something unrelated. This could be for a handheld successor to the Nintendo 3DS.
This controller design is very unique indeed, but the addition of a second screen was trouble for the Wii U, so I'm unsure about heading there again for their next gen NX console.
