Here's one more instance of Nintendo hating you as a consumer.

Nintendo blocks class action lawsuits, which means that you are not allowed to sue them or partake in class action lawsuits as soon as you agree to their End User License Agreement (EULA). Instead, if you have issues with Nintendo, then the issue will be on an individual basis rather than a collective, which means the legal fees are entirely yours to pay.

Some people say that this is in response to the lawsuit towards the Joy Con drifts, which happened back in 2019 and 2020, and they still haven't provided a legitimate solution. Heck, forget the Joy Con drifts. The Joy Cons in general are some of the most fragile controllers that I have ever used, and they are expensive here. I went through 4-5 pairs, and they're all broken in some way or another.

To have Nintendo to prevent users to participate in class-action lawsuits that hold them accountable is some of the scummiest moves that a gaming corporation could ever make. People have the right to sue whatever entity they like. Whether that lawsuit will proceed to the court of law is entirely up to the judges.

I highly doubt that this sort of thing is going to pass the judges. The judges will absolutely rip Nintendo for basically saying "Well, actually Your Honor, these users that sue me in court today have agreed in their EULA that they would not participate in class action lawsuits." Yeah, they are not going to buy that. Not one bit.

This is why we as consumers are basically just ways to make money for these corporations. We complained to them nicely. They're not going to listen. We file a lawsuit. They try to find loopholes. These corporations refuse to take accountability for their actions, and they totally get away with it because they do make good products.

Here's a piece of advice to all the corporations out there. Class-action lawsuits are like unions, and unions are like pregnancy. If you don't want them, try not to screw people.
