So, recently, there's been some drama between Nintendo and people who make "Let's Play" videos on YouTube. Apparently Nintendo wants to start claiming people's ad revenue on videos containing clips from their games. Much like how a musician claims it when their song is played in a YouTube video. In my opinion, this is really stupid. They're pretty much discouraging anyone from playing their games on YouTube. Which will most likely hurt them rather than help them. Since we (we being "Let's Players") are pretty much giving them free advertising when we make videos of their games...

What do you guys think about this issue? Are Nintendo right for claiming videos since they made the games? Or would it be smarter for them to just back off?
