Nioh 2 Final Boss: Otakemaru
0Well that was awesome.
I don't think tips are needed but just in case here is a quick rundown.
Phase 1 is him in a Yokai shift. He'll always start with whichever guardian spirit you chose so I got phantom.
Phase 2 he's able to swap between all 3 Yokai shift forms.
Phase 3 he'll swap between 3 different elemental blades and do a few dash attacks with after effects.
Phase 4 he uses all 3 elemental swords at the same and incorporates the abilities of the Yokai Shift forms. He also has an Unlimited Blade works.
Every time he brings on the dark realm Tokichiro will join you in his spirit form and help you fight the boss and there's a good chance he'll light the boss on fire.
After beating Otakemaru he drops a ton of different items and likely the first pieces of divine equipment you've encountered in the game plus his soul core meaning you get the good old unlimited blade works.
