There are 3 Nioh Hot Spring Locations in Siege of Osaka Region - Defiant Honor DLC (The Siege of Osaka, Dance of the Yokai, Scion of Virtue). Finding all of them unlocks the "Cleanliness is Next to Godliness" trophy (Bathed in every hot spring in "Siege of Osaka).

The hot springs replenish your health and give a buff that recovers health over time. They can make a huge difference when used before a boss fight. Or when you run out of elixirs this is a quick way to get back health without having to use a shrine.
If you miss a hot spring you can go back via mission select at any time. They are saved instantly after bathing in them. You do not have to use them again if you die. Furthermore, you are allowed to quit the mission immediately (use Himorogi Fragment) and your progress will still be saved. You don't have to reach the next checkpoint.

If you'd like to combine it with the run for Kodama Locations I recommend you get the Kodamas first and then look for the hot spring afterwards.
