This boss gave me alot of fucking trouble for some reason. The biggest issue initially was the purple stun wave which would paralyse me , leading to her finishing me off almost everytime. I spent atleast 5 hours on running to this boss and dying. There was some farming, but very little. There was also alot of cumulative time running through to the boss again and again.

What I ended up doing was equipping anti paralytic gear. Gear that resists paralyse. This made the paralyse duration extremely short in MOST cases. Sometimes I would still get paralysed for a long time, but it made most instances non lethal. That was a huge benefit.

I found the spear very useful in the high stance as well. I also applied water magic to the spear since thats what I had available. The spear has a very long reach and a medium speed. This was good enough to get 1 or 2 hits in on her openings (after she performs a move on the ground). High stance does more damage and I had enough stamina to still dodge. I believe blocking is not useful in high stance, but I dont really block anyway in these games. Very rarely and not on this boss. Occasionally I used block for the aerial shurikens but rarely.

Lastly I got my living weapon ready. I wasnt doing this for bosses but it was extremely useful. You only have to kill a few enemies to charge it up fully. Worth doing before going to any boss.

I also got some extra elixirs occasionally from farming. There is also an item that cures paralyse, however I ended up not using it and just using anti paralyse gear and lightening my armor to maybe 50-60 percent range. Normally I wear the heaviest gear.


These videos will show successful segments of my first playthrough of the game. This wont be a walkthrough. More of a showcase of some of the main parts. Notable encounters and boss fights mainly. Maybe some regular combat when I am familiar with an area.

Deaths will be edited out since it slows the pace of the video. This wont cover exploration or any type of filler. Just action segments. I may include some cutscenes if they occur after a boss fight, though the focus on my current videos is showcasing action and distilling the gameplay segments to thier purest form.

I still have to learn how to add commentary and edit properly to put up any type of walkthroughs. I will answer any questions regarding the games I have videos up for.
