Nitro Ball (Arcade 1992) Original Soundtrack
15Nitro Ball (Gun Ball in Japan) is an arcade top-down run n' gun in vein of Mercs and Heavy Barrel by Data East from 1992, with a twist that the entire thing is pinball themed, even your character can turn into a ball you control, as you battle through 5 stages (tables) to win.
Data East maybe were masters of kusoge, but they were always enjoyable and some were experimental, like this game and Boogie Wings (The Great Ragtime Show in Japan), where they just threw everything at a wall and see what would stick, while still making sure it's an enjoyable experience.
Some of the songs were already uploaded on YT, but given they are a decade old, they are quite crusty and not good sounding, not to mention a fair share of tracks were not uploaded at all, so you know me, I played the game through MAME, muted the oki1 sound channel (sound effects), recorded the music, then went back to record the voice lines by muting the YM2151 and Oki2 (music channels) and it was painful to get some of those songs, because of how quickly they come and go (fucking Bingo theme).
