15The Ninja Gaiden As Interpreted By MiniMacro Sound is a fan remake/reimagining of Ninja Gaiden 1 for NES by MiniMacro Sound, with redone graphics, level designs, enemy + boss behaviors and music, including the PC Engine version soundtrack (you have to beat the game first to use it, though).
This is a really great remake, majority of the bullshit from the original game is gone, the up+attack for specials can be turned off, there are different languages supported and you have infinite lives on by default.
The only issues I had were strange performance issues with shaders (that also give alternate palettes to few things and is mostly related to backgrounds), which is why I have them turned off in this vid and the gamepad support is a bit scuffed, specifically the joystick side of things, because crouching is fucked, because of how there is no diagonal input at all. And some of the original translation Engrish is still left in, but that's nothing major, probably just kept as a nice reference to the original.
The entire playthrough went well, but then I had a brain fart during Jashin, as I lost two lives during the fight, so I cut those out.
