NO AUDIO [RESOLVED]: My problem to no audio in Journey to the Savage Planet solved! SOLUTION: Apparently, there is a known bug that if you have an external audio source such as a VR headset plugged in, the audio will automatically default to that no matter what. Unplugging my Oculus Rift allowed me to hear my game audio!

BLACK SCREEN [RESOLVED]: As of 2-8-2020, when booting up the game on my desktop, the screen goes black. I basically followed all the steps I outlined below, AGAIN! By some miracle, it works on my laptop, just not my desktop.

In attempting to play Journey to the Savage Planet PC, I've run into problems where there is no audio in Journey to the Savage Planet. I've tried everything I can think of including updating my graphics card driver, the driver for my motherboard's onboard soundcard, I've updated the Epic Games Launcher as well as verifying the Journey to the Savage Planet game files. I've restarted my computer in between all of those. Let me know in the comments if you're having the same issues. Basics specs of my setup are:

Gigabyte z170 gaming 7 motherboard
nvidia gtx 1060 3GB
intel i5 7600k processor

I opened the following games in the following game clients
Heave Ho (Steam)
Journey to the Savage Planet (Epic Games)
World War Z (Epic Games)

I think that's basically everything that matters.

I was excited for this game, but this is super lame... Journey to the savage planet no audio pc
