No Blizzard Games in China! Blizzard & NetEase Partnership is OVER
After 14 years of partnership, Blizzard and NetEase end their partnership.
The Chinese distributor handled Blizzard games in China since the early 2000's, including World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Warcraft3 and Overwatch.
Blizzard needs to find a new way of publishing their games in China and to aquire a license for that as well. This might leave Chinese players without the ability to play the games and in grave danger of getting all account progress deleted.
What does that mean for Warcraft3 and what lead to this?
Neo explains the situation.
