[No Commentary] Slap City -- 19 February 2022 #4. You Call THIS "Under Control"?
Well, NOW I'm definitely back in action, ready to slap some fools! ...it was an interesting change of pace, seeing what CAN happen if I let the crazies run the show for a little while...
More crazies tend to gather here:

I had anticipated that the episode numbering scheme wouldn't really tolerate trying to split things up further into carefully-curated chunklets versus the bloated stream-of-consciousness dosage that is the chat-i-fied version of the whole ordeal... but never really came up with a satisfactory answer to how things would ultimately work out.
The FIRST half of this set... by which I mean the "#3" video... counterpart to a set of segments that only split up into halves... at least managed to make it seem like the description could bear the strain... but then we've got whatever blasphemy I've enacted upon whatever was left... so... um... it's gonna need some work.
Please understand.

Between this and their licensed Nick alternative, Ludosity seems to have some... rather unusual design choices thrown into things. Like, some of them are actually quite good and I wouldn't want them any other way. Others... make less sense. Either case will require you to poke around for at least a bit before you can be certain you've got what you came for.
I love the fact that the character select screen will register controller inputs among already-connected devices in order to determine the player order. Just like a certain OTHER game that we're totally not aping the style and format of! ... ... ...but then in Nick, it does this EVERY TIME you visit the character select screen. So there's no stability in player order whatsoever.
I also appreciate the existence of player nametags and profiles... but is there any functional reason why they should be separate things? ...y'know, except to give the most insane among us extra rope with which to strangle everyone else.
I'm not actually totally sold on any particular configuration of the controls I come up with after such a relatively small sample size anyway, though...
But that just makes it all the more frustrating when people are making deliberately self-destructive choices in their configuration... and potentially having to do it all over again... or overriding mine.
This also obviously includes by necessity a false-start or three, because it's no surprise that making ill-advised decisions while self-misinformed by faulty assumptions about all the important stuff will SOMEHOW lead to immense nonsense!

Match #1 -- Pepperpain Prairie
Goddess of Explosions (YuuGiJoou)
vs. Besiege Castle Man (Maidens)
vs. Jenny Fox (B-Squared)
vs. Business Casual Man (WhiteKhakis)
The only thing more fun than Business Casual Man is MORE Business Casual Man! With alternate theming!

Match #2 -- Jungle Zone
Ittle Dew (YuuGiJoou)
vs. Jenny Cat (Maidens)
vs. Magical Crystal (B-Squared)
vs. Asha (WhiteKhakis)
This game has an almost obnoxiously large variety of stages compared to its character roster. I love it.

It had to happen. It just did.
