This game can be a lot of fun, but it also has a lot of faults, and they are vastly more apparent when playing in VR. I understand that I'm a complete amateur when it comes to recording videos... especially VR videos... but a lot of it really does just come down to the flaws of the game (and to a lesser extent, the incompatibility of mods with VR).
Just to sum up a few things...
It is currently impossible to recolour building pieces in VR, which makes building bases a lot less enjoyable.
The ship controls are still jank with or without the usual mods that change ship flight. Due to the way the VR ship controls work, unlike in normal play where letting go of the throttle will bleed off speed gradually, in VR it just accelerates continuously as though it were held down, even when it isn't.
All the buttons mappings on the VR controllers are completely different to those on the regular controllers, which makes muscle memory a serious problem. This is only exacerbated by the fact that it is quite easy to accidentally die from pressing the wrong button in this game.
And of course the character movement being overly sensitive to where I hold my hands is utterly ridiculous. The game requires I raise my left hand to my ear to active / deactivate the scanner, BUT because that results in my hand pointing back, pressing forward on the analog stick moves me backwards instead of forwards.
Aaaaand so on.

So yeah... I think I might give up this series.
I mean I gave it a try, but I really should move on to other games.
Not just Dragon's Dogma either. I plan on starting another game soon.

Thanks for watching... or not... though I hope you did.
