Just a tour of my Portal Co-op in HUB3 regions of the Galactic Hub. See below for links to star system and glyphs/coordinates/wiki page. See more for full details on this base and its setup. ;) After 2.22 released, I decided to competely rebuild my Portal base in HUB3 since the updates to terrain manipulation was greatly enhanced and my Portal base area was prime for said update! My base building philosophy is building a home/village that I would live in real life. I want it to be comfy/cozy but also functional in the game play terms while also unique and mine. So this is my latest Portal Co-op Base.
Features/Areas:
-Visitor Center is the highest base piece in the Portal Co-op. Three ship landing pads allow multiple guests or parties to arrive and stay. The interior is adorned with a quick Geksy art setup by seamonkey420 along with the usual amenities including a Galactic Trade Terminal, Save Point, Construction Blueprint Analyzer, Large/Medium Refiners, several beds, an outdoor patio farming and refining area, interior pop-up Art Installation by the Geksy and two short range teleporters leading back to the Farming base or to the new Exocraft cave garage.
-Farming Shelter has all things you really need. Galactic Terminal, Save Point, Teleporter, Lounge area, Health/Shield stations, Outdoor patio with NipNip planters and of course short range teleporters to the Cave and the main visitor's center. Below the base on the ground are two bait feeding stations along with a farming station. Most local fauna prefer scented herbs bait except the night carnivore that likes ground meat i believe.
-Cave Shelter with all technicians, a large and medium refiner, short location teleporters to quick travel between the Co-op areas. Sleeping area for one, smaller resource area deeper in cave. Powered by solar panels on Farming base.
-Lake Retreat has smaller NipNip farm setup inside with about 9 NipNip buds per harvest. You will have access to your larger Colossus exocraft and the more nimble and smaller Nomad exocraft. Also the Natiliun sub is available via the right entrance. There are also two short range teleporters; one on the ship landing pad the leads back to Visitor center or one in base that leads to the Cave Shelter.
-Exocraft Storage Cave is just a small garage with 4 storage containers, a food processor and short range teleporters to the lake retreat and back to the main Visitor Center. Using the new terrain tools, I mined out an area for my two medium exocrafts to launch from (Pilgrim exocraft and Roamer exocraft).
