It's the MPEG segment of the test! I'm hoping to all hell that this MPEG will be higher or equal quality of the AVI, because the AVI is pretty good quality and MPEG is...

...well, put it this way. To capture the way I do currently, I need to capture a 50GB AVI file for 20 minutes, deinterlace it which takes another 20 minutes, upscale it and drag it into vegas, set up a hell of a lot of custom options, and then render it out....


....which takes up to 20 hours for every 1 hour of footage. Not. Good.

MPEG is 700MB for 20 minutes, and all I have to do is pop it into vegas and start rendering. It only takes around 5 hours for every hour of footage.
