While a 'remake' is a game that has been developed from the ground up, a 'remaster' is an updated version that uses existing assets from the original game. In the case of the PS3 and Xbox 360 releases of No More Heroes, they might look like 'remakes' at first glance, but they are 'remasters' by definition - just like the Switch and PC releases.
Note: "I never know if anyone is reading this, but you can hear the audio of both versions at the same time (PS3 on the left and the Switch on the right audio channel) as there are some differences as well. As soon as I receive the Japanese Wii version of No More Heroes, I will be working on another comparison video."
Note 2: "With comments piling up as to whether remake or remaster is wrong or right, including those on the 'held for review' list, which are mostly just insults, I decided to blur the bottom of the video and change the description."
