🏢 Government Power | President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Workers' Party) said this Friday (July 25, 2025) that no one can say that Brazil isn't trying to negotiate with the United States, since Vice President Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) calls "every day" to explain that President Donald Trump (Republican Party) received incorrect information about the country.
I wanted to tell Trump: Hey, Trump, this guy here, Geraldo Alckmin, is my vice president. He's the calmest guy I've ever met. He's a negotiator, 16 years governor of São Paulo, plus I don't know how many years vice mayor, mayor, federal representative, constituent assembly. In other words, this guy is an excellent negotiator. He doesn't raise his voice or send letters; he just wants to talk," said Lula.
