Stock up on health, armor and resistances. Try to have more than 100hp
and around 900 armor

Use the Snake ring. The Plague ring is also good.
Personally I like the Fierce ring as well.

Falstead's unique items are really good if you have them.

For your armor pieces, try to opt for things like resistances, health regen, chance to gain health on damage taken and health percentage.

Don't really need focus, but a stamina potion might help.
