When you hook a PS3 up to a monitor and you launch a game there is no sound, I figured this out by accident, couldn't figure it out at first, this video will show you a couple settings when having it on a monitor oh, this is with any monitor, the difference between a TV and a monitor is TVs are automatically outputting RGB signal and monitors are manual RGB signal so you have to automatically put RGB to full On Any Given device when it comes to PS3 PS4 Xbox One Xbox 360.
