In this video me and Wiggy G test out the Playstation 2 game called Noddy and the Magic Book. Published by The Game Factory, i was quite eager to test this one out. They usually tend to have decent games, with good visuals, but let down by loading times. Fortunately Noddy, wasnt too bad.
Noddy and the Magic Book plays out as a RPG game, where you control Noddy, completing different tasks for people around the village. During gameplay you get the chance to control Noddys car, and even an aeroplane.
The controls were quite smooth, but irritating at times when controlling the car. However, the game wasnt too bad considering it was a Noddy game.
One thing that let the game down was the constant travelling. It seemed as soon as you entered one zone, you were instantly leaving to return to the zone you just came from, only to return once again. It just seemed that you saw the same scenery every 10 seconds.
The sub/mini games were quite fun, despite their simplicity. On a whole i think Noddy was a decent effort of a game.And one that even Wiggy G is interested in playing again. So if youd like to see more, please leave a comment.
