Nosferatu Lilinor Is An Indie 2D Puzzle Platformer Game That Let's You Play A Cute Chibi Vampire
0This is another indie game I found on twitter. It's a game called Nosferatu Lilinor. It has you playing a cute female vampire named Lilinor. Here's the story on the Steam page.
The habitation was ravaged by Vampire hunters and a Vampire girl named Lilinor traveled with her follower Zasha to find a new castle.
After traveling for a while, they found the remains in the depths of the forest off the road.
However, the demons already lived there ...
“For now, let's go to the lowest level. we must defeat the big shots and make the hierarchical relationship clear.”
It's cute and the character sprite is in chibi form or style even though her dialogue shows her in anime form as being older and taller. She's probably thousands of years old if we are to go by vampire age like in Castlevania or Shinobi Oshinio the vampire girl from the Monogatari anime series. Go check those two anime out if you haven't done so. I mean check out the Castlevania anime and Monogatari anime series. lol Back to this game it's puzzle platform that doesn't play like your typical slash and hit type but instead you navigate through each stage like a puzzle. Lilinor can summon bats that she can uses as platforms to get by obstacles and reach higher up. You gotta grab these crystal like things to open the exit leading to the next stage. You can't kill enemies because they get back up. I haven't tried the easier difficulty so I don't know how enemies are like in those modes. That minotaur boss was a pain to fight. You gotta charge the bats to hit him but he moves way faster than you and Lilinor is slow as hell for a vampire. I think the devs made her slow on purpose to increase the gameplay difficulty. She also doesn't have double jump so you have to rely on her bat powers to get around. For a vampire she doesn't seem to have superhuman durability in this game she basically dies in one hit. I know it's part of the gameplay and if an anime for this game is made she'll probably have superhuman powers, magic and superhuman speed. I started getting annoyed with that last platforming part but other than that I like the music so that made it tolerable.
