Crazy Facts:
(See what I did there)

1. Crazy Taxi 1 had an arcade cabinet in sit-down & stand-up form but Crazy Taxi 2 & 3 had physical cabinets aswell.

2. The franchise has a "rare" coin operated redemption game

3. 3 attempts were made by Richard Donner in the 2000s (2001, 2002 & 2003 respectively) to release a Crazy Taxi summer blockbuster movie (like ID4) but was cancelled due to the lack of attention grabbing plot elements. The movie would have released in 2003 which would tie in perfectly with CT2 & 3 being released in the 2000s. It's unknown if the movie would feature the cabbies(characters/drivers) from the first three games or just the first game.

4. In 2003, SEGA commissioned DSI Toys to make a RC toy car based on Axel's Taxi Cab from the games as a part of their Gearhead toy line, DSI would file for chapter 7 bankruptcy later that year.

5. The cabbies from the first three games in the franchise have names, in the video I mentioned the cabbies from the first game.

6. Crazy Taxi 1 & 2 had various console ports outside of the arcades with CT1 & 2 both releasing on the Dreamcast but when Crazy Taxi 3: Higher Roller came out it was released as a exclusive for the OG Xbox this means that in order for you to play the game, you would have to have an OG Xbox.

7. The cities from the first three games have names & are inspired from there realistic counterparts:

CT1 West Coast: San Francisco mixed with Los Angeles

CT2: Around Apple & Small Apple: New York City (one of NYC's nicknames IRL is called Big Apple)
Around Apple didn't appear in CT3:HR but Small Apple did & was set at night.

CT3:HR: Glitter Oasis: Las Vegas

8. Sega received a award for game display method and moving direction method. this references the Green navigation arrow & the pedestrian avoidance AI in the game.

9. Several real life businesses made cameos in the game but was dropped due to licensing problems. The games licensed soundtrack also faced future licensing problems.

10. The console versions of Crazy Taxi 1 featured the "Original" & Crazy Box modes. I briefly touched upon those in the video.

11: (Currently) The IOS & Android ports have controller support. The game is also free to download on both operating systems app stores.

Goofs: when talking about the lawsuit that happened with The Simpsons: Road Rage I mentioned Sony. this is actually wrong as the companies that made that game were Fox Entertainment™ EA® & Radical Games Ltd.

This review is meant to educate the public about media in general. I wanted to test the YouTube waters on making a review not just about toys but also about mobile games, I also want to tackle live action vlogs covering mostly vehicles (not sure about vlogs with friends) so this video is a experiment I thought of, hope you enjoy the video.
