November Marks Epilepsy Awareness Month in the U.S. VIDEO
November is Epilepsy Awareness Month, highlighting that nearly three million U.S. adults have epilepsy, according to the CDC. Seizures are common in emergency rooms, and while a first-time seizure should always be medically evaluated as it may indicate a serious condition, individuals with a known seizure disorder, or epilepsy, do not necessarily require medical attention for every seizure.
