Time for more Valheim Early Access!
It's time to get settled into Valheim this time with some good old house building. We need a proper house or at least some form of shelter, a bed and as many new tools and weapons as possible. The new first person mod really adds something to every aspect! Our main goal remains to find our first prey Forsaken thing Eikthyr. Hugin is semi-thankfully still about to be sexy and teach us the basics between constant Greyling and Neck attacks. We made a stone axe and hammer last time but we need a Workbench to proceed really. The problem with that is that the Workbench needs a roof -_- Don't ask me how or why that makes sense but despite building it we're not allowed to use it until it's not "exposed". So with absolutely no complaining or difficulty whatsoever we easily fix that with a few walls and a roof and craft ourself humanity's greatest tool - a Hoe.
The Hoe lets us clear all the grass from around our frankly lethal fire and make the place a bit less wild and a bit more livable, lovely :D We even have a neck trophy we can hang on the walls we actually have now too! Next we need a bed to rest and save (I think?). We set out to gather wood but there's deers so we try to smite one for the whole Eikthyr offering thing. It's pretty damn hard with an axe hah. We stalk a lone deer all over the place, learning how to sneak in the process before losing it then miraculously finding it again far away and finishing it off!!! First deer hunt and kill achieved and with it new resources and more. Safe to say next time I think we need to try to make a bow for further deer hunting. With a bed, a workbench, a covered fire, a hoe, 3 walls a roof and an indoor raspberry supply we're basically settled safely in our first house. Next time we step up the hunt and maybe try to make clothes and more weapons I reckon! :o
