NowThis Smears Anti-Corruption Gamers For No Reason Out Of Nowhere
0NowThis, a so-called "progressive" news outlet, shows that they are anything but by putting on a video on June 11 called "Bad Influence", bringing up a loaded term to describe a major gaming controversy in 2014, smear those that were fighting for better transparency and responsibility in our gaming media by pairing them with vitriolic monsters that they had tried to condemn while calling out those that used their elitism to get positive coverage about them, and then omitting what started that round of talk about something that has been going on well before that and has been talked about since. But why now? Why did NowThis decide to dredge up the division yet again when they should know the majority of progressive gamers do want a fair and responsible gaming press that will serve them rather than the select few that are financially well off? And why do they continue to smear those gamers that would want that, the YouTubers and actual journalists that do actual work that actually care about gaming who will ACTUALLY fight for inclusivity and diversity within the gaming landscape for ALL women and minorities instead of those select that pay off gaming media outlets that will gladly take it?
One this is for sure: NowThis is NOT on the side of progressives with this take?
