Nox Plays... Cities: Skylines: Green Cities (Let's Play) | #31: Disaster Strikes!
The city of Noxdo is booming! We're making well over $60,000, the Space Elevator is, as predicted, bringing in a great amount of tourists, and our unemployment rate is sky high! I know, I know, that last one isn't a great thing, but we need a relatively high unemployment rate to unlock a unique building, so it's one of those pipe dreams I'm chasing.
However, just as I'm getting everything in order and beginning to work on our new residential area (again), disaster strikes in the form of a tsunami! It slowly spreads throughout the city, causing great devastation and costing us hundreds of thousands of dollars in infrastructure and income. Will the tsunami be the death of Noxdo City, or can Noxdo rise from the ashes to become the booming city that it once, albeit temporarily, was?
