Meet the parents of children who suffer from Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC), a rare and deadly neurodegenerative disease that primarily strikes children before or during adolescence. There is no cure for NPC.
The University of Notre Dame and the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation have formed a partnership dedicated to finding a treatment for NPC. This alliance will provide a new and highly effective model for research on rare and neglected diseases.
