YouTube ate my first attempt at the video and description, so instead here's the short version:

-The trigger to advance to the next story scene is getting knocked down at 0 HP
-There's a special circumstance for parts of this fight that make it so you can't be KO'd, even at 0 HP
-Straight Punch's stance has super armor to every attack, and can't be knocked down to start the next scene
-Combining all of the above, with careful play you can defeat Ethelwill the first time so long as you don't get hit while not in the stance

Too risky to use in speedruns, at least for now, and is actually slower in Hell compared to watching through the cutscenes and following fights normally. This demonstration is in Hard just to speed up the fight a bit; the damage reduction in Hell almost doubles the amount of time it takes.
