My second try upon recording Nuclear Throne on a friend's request. So close! Around the start of the scrapyard I forget that the assault slugger is trash, and ammo wasting (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH GATLING SLUGGER WHICH IS ONE OF THE BEST GUNS IN THE GAME) and I end up stuck with it and drain all of my assault rifle ammo trying to find good places to use it. My lack of bullets forces me to take an odd combo of weapons at the crystal caves, and things get iffier from there. The slow and greatly piercing plasma did some great work though. Auto crossbow is found in the frozen city, and is second to the gatling slugger in terms of sheer "seconds notice high damage output." at 9:00 I get the dreaded blind hallway lil' hunter spawn. trying to bait him into landing at one end of the hall works, and I get him. 9:45 I end up in a horrid situation, and take a clever solution. Always look for ways to kill from a distance like that when playing if you can. In Palace 2, I should have headed for that alcove to the right. would have been more defensible. Alas.
