Lag, Joe Hokage's one weakness.

Yeah, I SERIOUSLY underestimated just how bad the lag in this game could get. Not a good way to start.

If I continue this, I'll mostly be maining The Third Hokage and Kakashi. Don't be surprised if I call them Joe Hokage and David Bowie Sempai Sama Sensei Sama... Kun.Anyway...

Match 1:

Joe Hokage, with The First Hokage and The Second Hokage (I'm quite find of this combo, so it'll henceforth reffer to it as 'Team Hokage')

vs. Minato, with Tobi and Hidan

You probably can't tell it here, which is a shame, but I had lag so bad there was almost a full second between when I pressed the buttons and when they registered. Including the analogue stick. Yeah, this was weird. Looking back, I did kinda okay considering that.

Match 2:
Team Hokage

vs Sakura, with Sai and Naruto (Five Kage Summit)

Yeah... this didn't go well.

Match 3:

Bowie Sensei (Kakashi) with Joe Hokage and Darui (I need to remember his name, I mostly just call him Laser Man)

vs Choji, with Shikamaru and Neji (all Part 1)

After that disaster, I got challenged to a rematch. And surprisingly I did a lot better this time, and had probably my most fun match of the session. The main problem I had here was the lag threw off my grab timing. You'll see I block Human Bolder several times, but then try to grab too early and end up getting hit. I'm used to blocking, then grabbing in real-time, the lag threw me off. Still, I did okay considering.

Match 4:

The Second Hokage (with Team Hokage)

vs Sasuke (Susano), with Hidan and The Masked Man.

What's with all these Hidan Tobi assist combos? I understand all too well why Hidan is so popular from Overhazard's NUNS 2 videoes. I'm really surprised he didn't get nerfed. Here I learned the hard way that you can't sub out of it, you land right back in. The only defence is to block, but that leaves you open to a throw. The best option is just to dodge it outright. Unfortunately, I feel victim to the "trap and Ultimate" trick here. It's hard to counter-strategise while dealing with lag!

Oh, and I didn't actually mean to download the replay. I forgot where the options were.

Match 5:

The 1st Hokage, and Team Hokage

vs Kiba (Part 2), with The Tsuchikage and Hidan

If Hidan is still used this much, it seems the dev team made a horrible mistake. On to the match itself... uh... yeah. There were actually two matches like this as I accidently pressed 'Rematch', but didn't realise it meant 'rematch with same characters'. Both pretty much turned out the same way, though I did end up getting my Ultimate off in the 2nd. But I didn't last as long, so I chose this one.
The main point of note here is that I didn't actually know you could chain a ground combo into an air combo until now. Thanks for showing me how, Lai0901!
