Nvidia announced the Crypto Mining Processor (CMP) series of GPUs, most of which look like old or defective gaming GPUs and turning them into mining GPUs. But it seems like they've had enough of the bad press of miners taking all the cards, after all gaming is still their number 1 audience. Rather than actually tackling the real issue at hand, which is getting GPUs into the hands of gamers rather than miners, they've nerfed the hash rate of the RTX 3060 series completely.
Is this going to solve the issue for miners buying all the cards? Will they nerf the remaining 30 series cards by driver update as well?
