Nvidia FreeSync - how to enable AMD's screen tech with a GeForce GPU | Hardware
Nvidia FreeSync, the dream of anyone with a gaming monitor using AMD's screen technology with a GeForce GPU, is finally here. While Nvidia graphics cards have been ignoring the Adaptive Sync skills AMD introduced to the gaming monitor world with its FreeSync tech us PC gamers have been left either having to buy expensive G-Sync gaming monitors or having to put up with unsynchronised gaming visuals. Nightmare.
But with the G-Sync Compatible initiative Nvidia is bringing FreeSync support to its Pascal and Turing graphics cards, and though there aren't a whole load given full Nvidia certification just yet, you can try it out right now to see if your FreeSync panel is capable.
