Nvidia GeForce Now test on 4G LTE Network
Decided to take a clould gaming service test on 4G LTE network although 5G network is the best network for cloud gaming services. In this case, I'm using Nvidia GeForce Now service in Malaysia under its Alliance Partner, YES 5G (because I don't live on JB where some people get StarHub) and I'm also using Maxis 4G LTE network due to having the most network coverage unlike other telcos.
Before using this cloud gaming service, make sure that you have subscribed to high-speed internet plan with its speed at around 25-35Mbps or better and also make sure that your LTE network shows in full bar. Then, you will need a smartphone that is powerful yet decent enough to perform cloud streaming. This is because cloud gaming streaming acts as a remote desktop but specially configured for very low latency display, thus your device need to be very capable of processing very fast stream of data.
This service not just catering current devices, but old devices eg. 10-year old PCs and laptops still have a chance to run latest titles, but their hardware is the limitting factor.
