Failed Nvidia GPU Heist Goes Wrong
Thanks to recent sanctions goods like GPUs and electronics now come at a hefty cost in Russia, which seems to have spurred a couple of employees at a Russian company to pull off GPU heist that could have scored them $38,000… if they weren’t caught of course.
The employees were actually able to successfully grab 20 RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards and escape the building, however unfortunately for them the authorities were alerted when the pair attempted to sell them to a pawn shop, and they also appear to have forgotten THE ENTIRE THING WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA!!!
This just goes to show that Nvidia RTX 30 GPUs are still in very high demand despite the giant increase in availability as well as decreasing prices.
