Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti may be the most anticipated. Sure, graphics cards such as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 push the boundaries of what we can expect from GPUs, but the 3060 Ti makes the Ampere technology available to mainstream users for an affordable price while still delivering great performance.
It’s the most affordable of the new line, even more so than the RTX 3070, coming in at $399 (about £299, AU$540). And, the RTX 3060 Ti’s performance is on par with the RTX 2080 Super – better in some cases, in fact – and lets the masses play on Ultra settings with Ray Tracing turned on at 1440p. Imagine getting that kind of performance from a new AAA game like Cyberpunk 2077.
Though we’re still waiting to see what AMD RDNA 2 GPU will compete in this part of the market, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is a great and affordable way to tackle the latest and greatest in gaming for the next couple years, especially if 4K is not that important and you’re happy with top-notch 1080p performance.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is available starting December 2, 2020, and you can pick it up starting at $399 (about £299, AU$540). This largely falls in line with what we’d expect a graphics card in this segment to cost, especially considering the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super started at the same $399 (about £315, AU$580) and the RTX 2060 was $349 (about £260, AU$475).
