steps:
0) you need the dynamite (that attaches to enemies) and cat gaze for this. you also need sufficient dash distance to reach the room transitions without gaining too much height. good items for this are the dash upgrade, the float, quick draw, and the pepper (if you're using quick draw). most of these can be bought in the shop, but the dynamite is in the forest castle, near dracula's room. it's behind a spiked gate, which seems impossible to get past, but you can actually just quick draw through it lol
1) kill the first enemy in the room. he is in the way.
2) stick a dynamite on lower yeti and push him up to the wand, but try to get him as barely left as possible while still touching the wand
3) walk up to the upper yeti from the left and stand touching him. wait about 5 seconds after he walks away to reset his ai, and then approach him again
4) after he attacks for a second time, he'll jump onto the other yeti, at that point use cat gaze and book it to the exit, and make sure you're underneath the ceiling bit so that you dont get stuck in the room. the timing is very strict, so this might take several tries
5) the rest is the same as before. use all your resources to get to each room transition while gaining as little height as possible, wait for sp to recharge, and do it again until you reach the forest.
6) saving and teleporting no longer requires you to be standing on solid ground, so you can freely save and teleport at any one you can reach, you dont need to go to the tower.

notes:
1) all softlocks can be fixed by using the teleport to town menu option, but it will unflip you.
2) if you enter a room transition too high up, you will be softlocked
3) enemies really dont like it when you stand on their feet, you tend to slide super fast in tandem, i don't know why
4) there are softlocks everywhere when upside down
5) you can also get to some items a lot easier while upside down. some items will softlock you if you get to them while upside down......
