Obitus (MS-DOS) Intro und Gameplay
28Rollenspiel-Adventure mit arcadelastigen Elementen, 1990 von Bullet-Proof Software entwickelt und von Psygnosis vertrieben. Obitus spielt sich sehr adventurelastig, es gillt, verschiedene Gegenstände in der Welt aufzusammeln und zu verwenden. Erreicht man allerdings einen neuen Abschnitt, wechselt das Spiel in ein seitlich scrollendes Arcade Spiel, in dem man mit Pfeil und Bogen (später gibt es noch andere Waffen) gegen verschiede Feinde antritt und springend und duckend das andere Ende erreichen muss (warum es bei mir dort am Ende nicht weiterging, habe ich allerdings nicht verstanden, vielleicht fehlte mir ein bestimmter Gegenstand.....). Die Musik und das 3D Intro sind toll gemacht, man sieht im Intro das klassische Amiga bzw. C64 Intro aus der Zeit ( der sich bewegende Bildschirm mitsamt den heransausenden Schriftzügen).

Obitus plays very heavy adventure typical, you must pick up various objects in the world and use them. However, to reach a new section, the game switches to a side-scrolling arcade game in which you armed with a bow and arrow (later, there are other weapons) competes against different enemies and must be jumping and crouching reach the other end (why i cant proceed at the end, I have not understood, maybe I was missing a certain object .....) The music and the 3D intro are done really well, you can see in the intro the classic Amiga or C64 Intro from the time period (the moving screen together with the approaching roaring lettering).
