Obtuse Angler | Dredge - Part 3 (Lovecraftian Boat Exploration Game)
Dredge continues and there's a worrying moment when we approach a ghost boat out on the water at dark only to find that it's accompanied by a gigantic monster angler fish! Our boat isn't the best so we do take a hit or two as we try to get away, but do we manage to avoid sinking into the murky depths...?
We take our boat out to do some proper treasure hunting, looking for a lost belt buckle for one man and then some sunken goodies for the mysterious collector chappy. The collector chappy also gives us a somewhat curious gift, in the form of an ability, for helping him out.
As we go we do pick up quite a lot of crafting materials, such as wood and cloth, which we use to upgrade our boat a little bit! We can hold more lights, more engines, more rods and more nets!
We get a very odd request from the fishmonger, who asks us to catch him one of the slightly odd fish we've been finding since our arrival. We don't ask too many questions about what he wants to do with the fish...
Also we go and say hi to our new builder friend, we make a bit of a plan for our research and we catch crabs. Watery ones.
