This game is cute as heck, but pretty flawed. My biggest complaint is that someone submitted a rough draft for the final version of the game. It has grammatical and spelling errors out the wazoo. It feels really amateurish. It doesn't make the game bad or unplayable, but when every other dialogue box has errors it really brings you out of the experience. The gameplay is fine, reminds me a lot of top down Zelda. The pixel art is nice. There is a ton of world to explore and the dungeons are creative and mix well into the story. The story actually is fun and even has some decent humor, when not awkwardly fumbling with erroneous spelling errors. There are some great side quests to check out as well. Hell, the game offers you a hard mode off the bat too. Like Sekiro there is a demon bell to ring and it makes enemies stronger. I died a lot, but the checkpoint system is super forgiving and never felt too hard. I got one shot early on but once I upgraded my armor and got some more health the game was a real breeze. It's even got some cool hidden stuff and some secrets are pretty well stashed away. I sis my best to find everything, but there doesn't seem to be a good walkthrough to fully check if I actually got everything. It seemed even the develop[er wasn't sure what constituted 100% either in Steam forums. So I think I found everything. It really is a fun game with some clever stuff going on. I just wish someone proof read the script. Enjoy my blind playthrough.
