In theory this is the most powerful monster in the game but in practice the Dread Wolf and Deep one are both more powerful... however this one is required and it's not to be downplayed. The Grotesque monster has some brutally high offensive capabilities being able to deal over 3000 damage to the entire party in a single turn if you don't resist Darkness. As for the story itself we find out Akala was "raised" to kill Petrichor then lead the attack on Toto'haha. I'm not 100% on the timelines but I believe this would be the first flame to go out followed by the one in Ku, then crackridge, then lastly flamechurch.
