The Ratkin is a miniboss at best. All I know is it triggered a fight when I stepped on the pedestal even with the spurring ribbon on so it gets a video.

Plus we also get to learn a bit more information such as the identity of Oboro, that guy whose journal we found back at the very start of the game. Some of you may have pieced it together by this point but Oboro is Ori's brother she would mention. The wiki says she's adopted and the journal entries show he saved her as an infant during one of Ku's Many invasions.

We also learn what fate befell General Ageha... for all two of you that cared.

I chose to do the sacred flames on the western continent first because they're the easier ones to tackle. The one on Toto'haha has a dangerous boss guarding it and the one at flamechurch... aha aha haaaaaaahahahhahaha... not today.
