Just as common as desert music, music from snowy regions is a tradition in video games (there are a lot of them that I would like to remix). The Frostlands theme is like the entire Octopath Traveler OST, just perfect. I love the captivating atmosphere with the repetition and the construction of the piece around a rhythmic pattern. Somehow it reminds me a little of the work of the other Yasunori (Mitsuda) when he does Shala's Theme from Chrono Trigger and many other pattern-based music.

I used the same setup as usual with Ableton, my Roland synthesizer and several VST. As I did in my previous remix, I used some samples to give more richness to the music and I try to to bring nuances and variations around the main rhythmic pattern.
