Octopath Traveler II | A Neat and Improved Sequel! [Throné & Ochette]
2Finally, the mighty Octopath Traveler 2 is just days away from the release date, and it seems to live up to its predecessor standards, or even better.
As in the original game, you choose a protagonist and start their story, as you progress through the quests other companions will join you, each with his own tale and skills. I have to say that OT2 characters can't hold expressing their jealousy or cruelty, they even throw adult jokes at each other, at least it's the case in Throne's quest.
As you travel across the vast land of Solistia you will occasionally be ambushed by attackers, I have to say I'm not a fan of this gameplay characteristic but it is what it is, thankfully the enemies have weaknesses to certain spells which can help finish the fights quickly.
Keep in mind that you're able to play any of the available protagonists but only for 3 hours, this is why I couldn't waste much time during pre-recording, after that the demo ends and you need to pay for the game, save states are conserved.
