Part 34: Therion’s Tale Finale

Redemption. Revenge. Resolve. Now a tale of Triumph comes to an end. We move forth with Therion.
Therion reaches the town of Northreach, a town that is under the iron grip of Darius. Worst part about this is that they expect him to arrive and boy, he gets a welcome unlike any other. Heathcote comes in to help out and now Therion must find a way to reach Darius and stop him. It’s here that Darius reveals that Therion was just a means to an end and that in the end, Darius only relied on himself to make it far.
The boss fight against Darius is a tough little battle. For starters, you get stripped of your ability to use items and you need to break him in order to regain that. So first, find weaknesses then go on the attack. Bear in mind, Darius’ weaknesses will shuffle but if you are able to pull all of them, it’ll only be a minor inconvenience. A minor one at best.
Bring your best and be sure to take advantage of any and all powerful skills to do it. Having moves like Sidestep will help you bypass his attacks. But bear in mind, he will strike you down hard. Compared to other final bosses, he isn’t hard. You just need to worry more if your attacks connect because he has high evasion.
After beating Darius, Therion leaves with the remaining dragonstones leaving Darius to wrought… and boy does karma have a way of biting him in the butt. Without friends, in the end, you will just be alone and his greed only becomes his hubris. Returning back, he returns the remaining stones to Cordelia and Heathcote. He then learns that these dragonstones are the keys to unlocking the Gate of Finis. Now that they are in safe hands, Therion hopes they don’t get stolen again. He is also let go of the contract and decides to go off… but not before Cordelia sees him off.
Therion’s tale ends and it makes you see that the guy has a heart of gold. Wow.
