My thoughts on this part:

0:43 ; 5:58 So the old man, whom I stole the Golden Axe in the beginning of the video, is named "Alek". Ironically, even if you know his name, after Alfyn joined the team, his name in the game is still "Old Man". While some characters like Meryl or Gertas mentioned in chapter 1 will not appear until chapter 1 is completed.
Also if you read "Old Man" information, you will find that his tale related to the parable of the story about golden axe and silver axe (0:50); corresponds to 2 axes he owns. The story has many variations, but perhaps in Japanese culture, the person who gave the ax is "goddess of the spring", can be easily seen through Doraemon or KIN NO KANOJO GIN NO KANOJO.
20:18 This scholar is quite mindful when suggesting to you in detail the weaknesses of each upcoming monster. Unfortunately, I already has a scholar in my team, so this is quite redundant. If you're playing the game for the first time starting with Alfyn then this information is quite helpful.
