This is a glitch that's been known by speedrunners a while, though I don't recall who discovered it. I'm just resharing if any casual players were interested.

Please also see my video on Buffer/Home Buffer Glitches (https://youtu.be/0XlAM3mTu0Q). This skipping/delaying encounter glitch/method is essentially spamming that while going across screens on PC or Nintendo Switch.

This is banned in speedruns but can be useful in casual or challenge plays. It is done by intentionally inducing lag while traversing a hostile screen. Doing it essentially guarantees a free scholar shrine walk, and it can also be used in other tight screens to get through with no or minimal encounters.
