In this video I test an OCZ Vertex 3 SSD on the native Intel SATA 3 controller of a P67 motherboard. OCZ states that the maximum rated performance of the Vertex 3 was achieved using this configuration. I recently did a review on the OCZ Vertex 3 and the performance results from my testing on the Asus Rampage III Extreme were sub par, due to the bad performance of the Marvell 9128 controller on the Rampage III. So I decided to run the benchmarks again this time on my Asus Sabertooth P67 Test Bed and compare the results.
