Definitely something odd with pathfinding here. The bottom stable is at least as close as (or probably closer) the castle is to the cavalries but all of them went for the castle. For the second group of cavalries, the bottom stable is definitely the closer target.
It's not that the cavalries can't move between the mills either because you can see right in the beginning how 2 cavalry move between the buildings.
And since the top stable and the top garrison is the same distance from the castle, this causes my cavalries to split into two groups moving in opposite directions in the end of the video.
p/s: Around 0:11, you can see how the cavalries move to the back of the infantry defenders before attacking them (also, the defenders are attacking at a distance too.)
