Oddworld Soulstorm - The Blimp - Second big area with snipers
0This Oddworld Soulstorm game guide video shows how to safely get through the second big area in The Blimp level. Abe will have to avoid the snipers (red laser dots) and mortar bombardments being carried out by the blimp. Try to limit the time you're in the open, because mortar fire can knock you down easily.
The best way to get through this area is to rely on the possession ability. You can use it to knock out Sligs, to make them explode or to make them attack each other. Start by eliminating two of the closest Sligs. You may attempt to reach the Royal Jelly (optional collectible) from the upper left platform, but it's challenging and you'll have to avoid the snipers along the way (time your jumps and hide behind cover). Once you have the Royal Jelly go back to the start and begin descending. Use possession on all of the Sligs you encounter and try to use the ability while behind cover. Choosing the lower path will eventually lead you to a new checkpoint.
