Chapter 5, after learning that her new husband Oswald fought a dragon specifically to win her hand Gwendolyn is touched that someone would do such a thing for her. Now back at her castle she is feeling intense heartache and worry for Oswald's safety unable to wait for him any longer she ventures out to see her husband again and bring him home safe.

Something I didn't mention in the 3rd chapter. Originally in this and Chapter 3 you had to buy potions to keep the characters safe from the environmental hazards of the locations. Thankfully that's a thing of the utter past as you had to waste space for these potions. That's another thing in the original game they had a... different take on the whole bag space system. For one yo had to buy them from the merchants instead of finding them in the map like you do here. If you bought a bag you would be stuck with that bag... permanently. You also could only buy 4 bags, so if you bought 4 of the first bag you were screwed. So the best thing to do was to play till you got to the biggest bag and splurge all your money on that bag. The result? You had hammerspace bags.

Apart from the environmental damage another big change was to the enemies, specifically the little hopping bombs. If you were close to those things when they blew up in the original you died. Straight up no if ands or buts about it. You were dead even if you have full health, thankfully they won't do it in this game but they still do a chunk of damage so it's best to avoid them.
