Finally at the end, where if you read the lore, will know which order to use the character in to actually proceed to beating the game. If not, you'll get the bad ending and will have to start over from scratch in the boss fights.

Most of these fights aren't really a big deal, especially if you decided to mix potions for this portion. Since the game won't keep any saved data here, you won't actually use up your materials and keep using them in other boss fights if you decide to get all the other bad ending results as well. Quite useful.

The 2nd and 4th bosses can be obnoxious, but not really due to some hard mechanic from the boss itself. The 2nd spawns adds, which with how the camera is setup, can get you cheapshotted pretty easily, but anything like blaze or poison will protect you from these issues. You can do something similar to cauldron, but you need to aim properly to get it near the center of the eye. That fight becomes a bit obnoxious due to the swaying and not being able to float from your attacks.

As mentioned previous, I'll mention now what issues I have getting to this point in the story. While I think most events would continue and still destroy the world without the proper characters, I don't see any reason for the 4th and 5th fight to occur. The king doesn't do anything specific to keep himself alive and the character you're playing just let them walk off after being beaten. A completely preventable situation.

I think some fights, not even really the main boss, can be quite obnoxious, usually if the enemy has some quick animation, really don't like the giant troll boss, but the games pretty enjoyable. I'd say if you can get your hands on it, the refined version is worth playing and has a good amount of play value to it.
